He has been involved in businesses that serve the public for most of his 35 year career. Before solar, he worked to help seniors and their families and the senior living providers find and create optimal senior living solutions. Since settling here in Bayfield Colorado, he has worked to help local families and businesses take advantage of the incredible incentives and benefits offered by solar and at the same time, help us protect our planet for future generations.

Charly brings over 40 years of experience as a home builder and general contractor to SOCO Solar and Power. He has been a long-time proponent of solar energy, having installed it at his personal residence over 10 years ago. Charly has also been a Generac service dealer for more than 12 years and has the knowledge and expertise to match back-up battery storage or on-site power generation to the needs of a home or solar installation.
Charly has lived most of his life in Southwest Colorado, and is committed to giving reliable local service to SOCO customers and is excited to play a part in bringing the many advantages and benefits of solar energy to more and more households and businesses in the Southwest.
Carrie has 15+ years in carpentry and 12+ years as an operating engineer / heavy equipment operator. She was offered a job at SoCo Solar & Power after loading 20 bales of hay in 15 minutes into her truck at Charly’s ranch. Charly’s wife noticed, and brought Charly out to meet her. The rest is history. She enjoys learning something new, likes her coworkers, and thinks that SoCo has been a great place to work. She is looking forward to working with the SoCo family in the future.
Kaila is a solar enthusiast with a passion for sustainable, self-sufficient living. In work and lifestyle, she is driven by protecting and adventuring the outdoors.
After receiving a bachelor's degree focused in outdoor leadership and alternative energy from Sierra Nevada University, she continued to refine her skills in these fields through office and program management, as well as 2.5 years assisting and leading solar installations in the field.
Kaila loves connecting with community members through solar power, with companies that offer equally accessible solar to everyone. She is grateful to be a part of a team that supports this.
